Cave Creek is a peaceful little stream running through our wooded property. Sit at the drink rail on the upper deck and let the relaxing sounds of the creek ease your cares away.

Newly constructed on the western edge of the Shawnee Wine Trail, our cabin is close to the many activities, wineries, breweries or restaurants the region has to offer. Enjoy the orchard blooms in the spring and in summer and fall, the bountiful harvest is available at the orchard stores. Our cabin offers the perfect accommodations for a family reunion, pre-wedding event, wedding weekend or a quite, relaxing getaway with friends.

Beautiful artisan crafted wood features and furniture made from reclaimed wood throughout make the cabin unique. The cabin is multi level with two large covered decks overlooking Cave Creek so you can enjoy relaxing outdoors even on a rainy day. A spacious 1500 sq ft, the cabin can sleep up to 8 guests, has a full kitchen stocked with cookware and dinnerware and two full baths. The kitchen, dining area for 8, and living area with gas fireplace, recliner and HD-TV are located on the entry level. A bedroom, with comfortable queen bed, a bath and a sleeper sofa are located on each level.

The large family area, featuring board games and game table, satellite, HD-TV, DVD/CD player are located on the lower level.  With a bedroom and full bath on each level, our cabins are perfect for multi couples or families.  Our showers have great water pressure, too!

Luxurious linens and bath towels provided.  Soap, shampoo, paper products and some cleaning supplies available.

A dusk to dawn security light illuminates the parking area and cabin entry. A fire pit and grilling area (charcoal grill) are located on the creek side of the cabin. Due to the recent construction, grass and landscaping are limited. However, Mother Nature provided a rocky brook and plenty of room to wander.

Just north of Alto Pass, off Highway 127 on a quiet country lane, our property is located in the midst of orchard property making it a tranquil setting. There's tons of great hiking trails or good fishing nearby. You can take a pottery class, zip line through the Shawnee canopy, learn to repel at the state park or you could just relax while sipping some locally crafted wine or brews. Take a short drive to the Bald Knob Cross of Peace, located on the most prominent elevation in So. Illinois, for a multi state view or unforgettable sunrise.

Alto Pass , IL , United States

On the western side of the Shawnee Wine Trail, we are just outside Alto Pass and close to Bald Knob Cross of Peace. Cave Creek Cabins are located between Pomona Natural Bridge and Trail of Tears State Parks. Close to great hiking at the Little Grand Canyon or good fishing at Cedar Lake. Cedar Lake also has a great hiking trail around the lake with beautiful views, bluffs and a waterfall after the rain. If you are a thrill seeker, there is a great Zip Line Adventure close by in the Shawnee or learn to repel in Giant City State Park. You could go horseback riding or take a pottery class at nearby Alto Pass Clay Works. Enjoy the harvest bounty from our neighbors at the Rendleman Orchard Farm Store, where you can get fresh picked produce (or maybe just some famous apple cider donuts) in season. Did you know there was a Darn Hot Pepper farm and a lavender farm close by? There are also several good golf courses in our region. And in the summer you could take in a Southern Illinois Miners baseball game. On August 21, 2017, join us in Southern Illinois for prime viewing of the total Eclipse. So in addition to the great wineries and growing number of breweries, there are a lot of activities to enjoy in Southernmost Illinois. Come and visit us soon.

Date of Stay:

The location of the cabins is in a perfect area to enjoy the wine trail, the Bald Knob Cross and have access to good restaurants and food within a short drive. The cabins are beautiful and truly have everything you need! There is a large selection of utensils and cookware if you want to cook. The layout of the cabin is perfect for couples or two families and is very secluded. The sounds of the creek and the breeze through the trees make sitting on the large deck such a relaxing experience. No better place to have your morning coffee! This is glamping at it's best!
